CarFest

If you’re looking for a fun car show that also has a charitable element, your search is over. CarFest is a family-orientated festival that dishes out a quarter of its proceeds to Children In Need. The show is split into events in the North and South of England. The Northern has already been held at Oulton Park, Cheshire on 31st July – 2nd August, but if you missed out on the fun you can attend the Southern event, which will be held at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire on 28-30 August. Entry is from £60 and with this you’ll be able to enjoy a live music line-up of Paloma Faith, Will Young, Texas and Boomtown Rats, as well as plenty of organic festival foods and an incredible air display, among many car-related things – such as a driving school for youngsters and a wide range of production/racing models taking to the track!

Dunsfold Wings & Wheels

Head over to the Wings & Wheels event this year over at Dunsfold Park on 29th-30th August for a Bank Holiday weekend brimming with motor displays, race simulators and activities for the whole family to enjoy! With entry from just £22, the Dunsfold Wings & Wheels event is one not to be missed. This year there is rumoured to be a Red Arrows show, as well as a large retail village and supercar area!

Goodwood Revival

The event has a focus on exploring car culture from the past, and as a result those that enter (from £50) will enjoy a show of hundreds of seminal vintage road and track cars race around the famed Goodwood circuit. The event starts on 11th September and is on for just 3 days.

Kop Hill Climb

First conceived of as a competitive car event, Kop Hill Climb is now a family-fun day suitable for all. It’s one of England’s oldest hill climbs, located in Princes Risborough, and contains hundreds of exotic and historic cars for visitors to appreciate. Entry costs just £5 and gives you access to a number of exhibitions and plenty of entertainment. The event runs from 19th-20th September and is run by volunteers, with the day’s earnings going to important charities. To make the day even more special, side events will also carried out, including a Soapbox Challenge, Funfair and raffle for a Porsche 911 ride up the hill!
