Men & Women Learning to Drive: What’s the Difference?

While the Suffragettes of the early 20th century, and the rise of feminism in the late nineteen sixties sought to advance women’s equality with men, there are still some significant differences. The glass ceiling for certain types of employment still exists, and despite evidence to the contrary, women are still sometimes treated as though they are worse drivers than men.

Learner Drivers to get Cashback if they Pass First Time

In a new shake up of driving test rules, people who fail to pass their tests now face paying more than those drivers who do pass the test. The new initiative is designed to attempt to discourage those motorists who are not road ready. Those who manage to pass the driving test will receive money back from the £62 test fee.
